An "Oasis" at Penn

The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia is not only the largest private employer in the entire city, but it's also the second largest in all of PA. That's pretty impressive for a school.

A few years ago, Penn came out with a plan for both the university and the city called "Penn Connects" (check it out when you have a moment). Penn Park is one such part of that plan to help connect University City to Center City.

The next time you drive on I-76/Schuylkill Expressway (East or West), look to the right (going East) or left (going West) by the new South Street Bridge and you will see Penn's new park; it's pretty awesome.
